CHEAP HIPS = FALSE ECONOMY BUYERS AND SELLERS BEWARE!

There are many HIP providers out there who do not subscribe to the HIP Code and are not registered with the Property Codes Compliance Board. Many are providing packs that do not comply with the regulations. If you choose such a provider you will have no formal means of redress should the pack contain any errors, indeed you will be personally financially liable which could be very costly.
ALWAYS check that your chosen provider is HIP Code Compliant and has adequate insurance cover in place. (Should be no less than £2,000,000)
